Cyclocommunol is a prenylflavonoid with antityrosinase and antiplatelet activitie, can be solated from breadfruit. Cyclocommunol exerts anti-tumor activity and inhibits the growth of human hepatoma and gastriccancercells with IC₅₀values between 16 and 80 μM. Cyclocommunol shows proapoptotic effect on oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC)^[1].
