Dopamine hydrochloride (ASL279) acts throughD2dopamine receptors to induce endocytosis of VEGFR2, which is critical for promoting angiogenesis^[1].

Vascular permeability factor/vascular endothelial growth factor (VPF/VEGF) strongly stimulates human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) proliferation. The stimulatory effect of VPF/VEGF is abrogated by Dopamine (1 μM; 24hours)^[2].

Dosage:	50 mg/kg
Administration:	I.p. injection; 7 days
Result:	Corresponding to ~5% of the median lethal dose (LD₅₀) in mice) beginning at 24 hours after tumor-cell injection and continuing daily for 7 days.
