Ga 68-pentixafor is a ligand for chemokine receptor C-X-C chemokine receptor type 4 (CXCR4), and a radioconjugate consisting a cyclic pentapeptide analog of stromal-cell derived factor-1 (SDF-1 or CXCL12). Ga 68-pentixafor is a promising radiopharmaceutical for positron emission tomography in the detection of different tumor entities and other diseases.
