Description: I3C HCl, formerly known as 3-Indolemethanol, is natural product with anticancer activity and is produced by the breakdown of the glucosinolate glucobrassicin, which can be found at relatively high levels in cruciferous vegetables. It inhibits NF-κB activity, is an Aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) agonist, and an inhibitor of WWP1 (WW domain-containing ubiquitin E3 ligase 1).
