Background:

Ibuprofen-d₃contains three deuterium atoms. It is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of ibuprofen by GC-or LC-mass spectrometry. Ibuprofen is a non-selective, reversible COX inhibitor. The IC₅₀values for human recombinant COX-1 and -2 are 2.6 and 1.53 µM, respectively.¹The K_ivalue for ovine COX-1 and -2 is 9 µM.²
