IZCZ-3 (IZCZ3) is a a four-leaf clover-like ligand acting as a novel and potent c-MYC transcription inhibitor with anticancer activity. ZCZ-3 induced cell cycle arrest and death, and hence decreased cell growth, primarily by inhibiting c-MYC transcription via specific targeting of the promoter G-quadruplex structure
