Venom is a complex mixture of small molecules and peptides/proteins with neurotoxic, cytotoxic, cardiotoxic, muscular toxic, and various enzyme activities. A series of studies have found that venom toxins also exert antitumor, antibacterial, anticoagulant and analgesic activities^[1].
