MTPG 是一种有效的mGluR2与mGluR3拮抗剂。MTPG 可阻断脑缺血预处理诱导的脑缺血耐受。MTPG 也能显著减弱 L-CCG-1 对 KCl 诱发的多巴胺释放的抑制作用。

生物活性	MTPG is a potentmGluR2andmGluR3antagonist. MTPG can block the induction of brain ischemic tolerance induced by cerebral ischemic preconditioning. MTPG also significantly attenuates the inhibitory effect of L-CCG-1 on the KCl-evoked dopamine release^[1].
