Halichondrin B is found from thespongeHalichondria okadai. Halichondrin B is a noncompetitive inhibitor ofVinca-alkaloid binding to tubulin(IC₅₀for tubulin polymerization of 1.2-1.4 μM). Halichondrin B shows anti-tumor activity^[1].

Halichondrin B (0.1-10 nM, 16 h) treatment inhibits the growth of L1210 cells^[1].
