Eleutherol 是从E. americana中分离得到的萘类化合物，具有抗真菌 (antifungal) 活性。Eleutherol 抑制白假丝酵母菌，白色念珠菌，酿酒酵母和新型隐球菌的MIC值在 7.8-250 μg/mL 之间。Eleutherol 具有 α-葡萄糖苷酶 (α-glucosidase) 抑制活性，IC₅₀>1.00 mM。
