生物活性	Sideroxylin is a C-methylated flavone isolated fromCallistemon lanceolatusand exerts antimicrobial activity againstStaphylococcus aureus. Sideroxylin inhibits ovariancancercell proliferation and inducesapoptosis, causing DNA fragmentation, depolarization of the mitochondrial membrane, the generation ofreactive oxygen species(ROS)^[1].
