CBK289001 is atartrate-resistantacid phosphatase(TRAP/ACP5)inhibitor. CBK289001 inhibitsTRAP 5b^MV,TRAP 5b^OXandTRAP 5a^OXwithIC₅₀s of 125 μM, 4.21 μM and 14.2 μM, respectively^[1].

Only CBK289001 inhibits TRAP3^highcell migration in a concentration-dependent manner. Significant inhibition of migration appeared from 24 h after treatment and reduced migration velocity over 30 hours is reached with concentrations of either 20 μM or 100 μM^[1].
CBK289001 inhibits TRAP-dependent migration when treating TRAP-overexpressing MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells^[1].
