Intracerebroventricular infusion of Melanin Concentrating Hormone (10 μg/day) causes a slight but significant increase in body weight in mice maintained on the regular diet. Chronic stimulation of the brain Melanin Concentrating Hormone system could cause obesity in mice[3]. |
