淡黄色结晶粉末。熔点104℃。溶于乙醇、氯仿、苯、丙酮、二氯乙烷、二硫化碳，微溶于冷乙醚，不溶于水、气油。无臭，无味。贮藏稳定。

生产方法:

将二硫化四甲基秋兰姆用氰化钠脱硫即得该品。

用途:

橡胶促进剂，主要用于制造电缆、轮胎、胶管、胶带、艳色制品和透明制品、鞋类、耐热制品等。
