性质描述:

无色液体。相对密度1.07，沸点128-131℃（1.6kPa）。

生产方法:

先将浓硫酸和冰乙酸的混合物冷至0--5℃，滴加对异丙基甲苯，搅拌得到乳状液。然后将浓硝酸和浓硫酸配成的混酸滴入，硝化温度保持在-10℃以下，将反应液加入冰水中，分取油层进行减压蒸馏，收集125-139℃（2-2.26kPa），得2-硝基-4-异丙基甲苯。收率约80%。

用途:

有机合成中间体。
