结晶化合物。熔点188-190℃。

生产方法:

用2-羧基-3-（三氟甲基）二苯胺（即合成抗菌剂氟灭酸）经高温催化脱羧（200℃ ，铁粉），生成3-（三氟甲基）二苯胺。将后者在碘参与下与硫黄一起加热，环合后制得该品。

用途:

三氟拉嗪、氟奋乃静的中间体。
