性质描述:

该品的白色针状晶体。难溶于水，可溶于乙醇、乙醚及碳酸钠溶液。其碱性溶液有蓝色荧光，在空气中能氧化。其酸性溶液遇三氯化铁为红褐色，遇漂白粉为暗红色。

生产方法:

以前生产γ酸用β-萘胺为原料，同时副产J酸。但由于β-萘胺的致癌作用如今不再采用。目前用G盐（2-萘酚-6,8-二磺酸双钾盐）为原料，经氨化、碱熔、酸化而得。产品规格：HG2-205-80。外观为浅灰色膏状物，γ酸含量（以偶合值计）大于55%。原料消耗定额：G盐（折100%）1520kg/t、硫酸（99%）1850kg/t、烧碱（折100%）1200kg/t、二氧化硫（工业品）330kg/t、氨（99%）485kg/t。

用途:

用作活性染料和直接染料的中间体。用于直接重氮黑BH、直接深棕M、直接枣红GB、直接红F、直接灰D、直接N和直接耐晒灰等。
