性质描述:

无色或黄色液体。熔点4-6℃，沸点261℃（0.67kPa），相对密度0.9675（20/20℃），闪点232℃。溶于醇、醚、丙酮，不溶于水。

生产方法:

由邻苯二甲酸酐与癸醇酯化而得。邻苯二甲酸酯类增塑剂的生产方法具有共同性，可参见邻苯二甲酸二辛酯（C24H38O4，[117-84-0]的制法。在实际工业产品中，没有完全直链的邻苯二甲酸二癸酯，都是支链酯的混合物，只是异构体比例有所不同。

用途:

该品与邻苯二甲酸二辛酯（DOP）相比，挥发性小，仅为DOP的四分之一，而且迁移性小，耐抽出性好。可作为乙烯基树脂和纤维素树脂的增塑剂。该品也用作气相色谱固定液，最高使用温度150℃，溶剂为丙酮、氯仿或甲醇，能选择性地保留分离芳族化合物、不饱和化合物以及各种含氧化合物（醇、醛、酮及酯等）、卤代烃和G以下的烃类化合物。
