性质描述:

淡黄色针状结晶。熔点170℃，不溶于水，溶于乙醇及其他有机溶剂。溶于硫酸中形成红光带绿色荧光的橙色液体。

生产方法:

由蒽醌和甘油经下述步骤反应而得。（1）蒽醌在硫酸铜存在下，用铁粉还原生成羟基蒽酮。（2）甘油在浓硫酸作用下失去水分转变为丙烯醛。（3）在硫酸存在下，羟基蒽醌和丙烯醛加合，并失去一分子水形成新环。（4）再用硫酸氧化成苯并蒽酮。原料消耗定额：蒽醌（98%）900kg/t、甘油600kg/t、锌粉440kg/t、硫酸铜（96%）205kg/t、硫酸（100%）5000kg/t。

用途:

重要的染料中间体，用于生产还原艳绿FFB、还原橄榄绿B、还原橄榄T、还原灰M、还原黑BBN等。
