应用

Ganoderic acid A has been used as a standard in Fourier transformed-infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy for the analysis of secondary metabolites from Ganoderma lucidum. It has also been used to test its protective effects on hypoxia-induced H9c2 cardiomyoblasts cells.

Ganoderic acid A elicits anti-nociceptive, hepatoprotective, anti-human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). It also shows an inhibitory effect against protein prenyltransferase and β-glucuronidase. Ganoderic Acid is reported to exhibit anti-tumor activity via its inhibitory effect on nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-κB) and activator protein 1 (AP-1).
