Terpineol is used in perfumes, cosmetics and flavorings. It is also used in the chemical industries and personal-domestic use. It acts as a cleaning and washing agent, disinfectant, food additive and odor agent. It finds applications in fragrance compositions, disinfectants, polishes and various household cleaning products. It is also used as high-grade solvent and deodorizer.
