In printing, fabrics, dyeing, manufacturing of paper, vegetable glue, baking powder, purifying water, clarifying sugar, as catalyst in ammonia synthesis, hardening agent in microscopyAluminum potassium sulfate dodecahydrate is used in leather tanning, water purification, fire proof textiles and backing powder. In the cosmetic industry, it is used as an after shave treatment, deodorant, hardener for photographic emulsions and as a mordant for dyes. In medical field, it finds application as an astringent, antiseptic and to reduce bleeding in minor cuts and abrasions and nosebleeds..
