Meloxicam 是一种选择性的COX抑制剂，用于缓解疼痛以及发烧症状。

COX

体外研究

Meloxicam显著减少HCA-7和Moser-S集落大小。Meloxicam显著抑制HCA-7细胞集落和肿瘤生长，但是不影响COX-2阴性HCT-116细胞的生长。[1] Meloxicam抑制PGE(2)产生，增殖和侵染，尤其在表达相对较高水平COX-2的MG-63细胞中。在MG-63细胞培养中，Meloxicam引起细胞凋亡，并上调Bax mRNA和蛋白质。[2]

体内研究

在体内小鼠模型中，Meloxicam抑制LM-8肿瘤生长和肺转移。[2] 在马体内，Meloxicam注射8和24小时后，引起跛行显著减少，并有减少渗出物的倾向。在马体内，与安慰剂治疗相比，Meloxicam注射后8小时显著抑制骨液(SF)中前列腺素E2和P物质的释放，注射后24小时抑制缓激肽释放。在马体内，Meloxicam注射8小时和24小时后，减少平均MMP活性。[3] 与SS处理的马相比，Meloxicam-或flunixin-处理的马改善了术后疼痛度和临床变量。Meloxicam导致马的局部缺血损伤组织中产生大量中性粒细胞。[4] 在狗体内，Meloxicam给药在第7和21天显著抑制血液和骨液中PGE2浓度，但是不影响血液中TXB2浓度和胃黏膜中PGE2浓度。[5]

A cell-permeable, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) of the oxicam family which preferentially inhibits the inducible isoform of COX-2 (IC₅₀ = 4.7 µM) relative to COX-1 (IC₅₀ = 36.6 µM). Also inhibits the growth of colorectal cancer cells in vitro.
A cell-permeable, non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) of the oxicam family that preferentially inhibits the inducible isoform of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2; IC₅₀ = 4.7 µM) relative to cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1; IC₅₀ = 36.6 µM). Also inhibits the growth of colorectal cancer cells in vitro.
