性质描述:

液体。沸点137-138℃。

生产方法:

由2,5-二甲基苯胺[95-78-3]经席曼（Schiemann）反应而得。将400g40%的氟硼酸加入50ml水，冷却，控制温度在0℃左右，在搅拌下慢慢滴加72.5g，2,5-二甲基苯胺，再滴加亚硝酸钠溶液（40g亚硝酸钠溶于120ml冰水中），静置，过滤。用少量甲醇-乙醚（1：1）及乙醚各洗1次，抽干，在室温（不高于30℃）分解。将分解产物进行水蒸气蒸馏，分出油层，用无水氯化钙干燥后分馏，收集145-147℃馏分，得2-氟-1,4-二甲苯59g，收率80%。

用途:

用于有机合成，可用来制备相转移催化剂2-氟-4-甲基苄基三甲基溴化铵。
