生化/生理作用

阻止 K+ 频道；通过阻断受体介导的 K+ 电流来阻断烟碱乙酰胆碱神经传递。
四乙基氯化铵(TEAC)非特异性地阻断 K+ 通道。在大鼠主动脉环中，四乙基铵抑制由过氧亚硝酸盐引起的松弛。它通过阻断受体介导的 K+ 电流来阻断烟碱型乙酰胆碱神经传递。TEAC 可以增加结肠和直肠的收缩性和活动性，是 Hirschsprung′s 病患者的治疗选择。在动物的早期败血症期间，TEAC 可减少炎症反应，改善心脏、血管和血液动力学特性。TEAC 具有细胞毒性和抗增殖潜力，并通过下调 B 细胞淋巴瘤-2(Bcl-2)和上调 Bcl-2 相关X(Bax)来诱导胶质瘤细胞凋亡。
