性质描述:

白色或淡黄色结晶性粉末。熔点228-233℃。溶于浓盐酸，微溶于稀盐酸，极微溶于氯仿，不溶于乙醇、乙醚、水、稀碱溶液。几乎无臭。

生产方法:

由3-甲氧基-4-羟基苯甲醛（香草醛）经甲基化、缩合、加成、环合而得。

用途:

兽药磺胺增效剂，用于防治家禽细菌感染。也是抗球虫药，与磺胺喹噁啉合用，治疗家禽球虫病。
