性质描述:

无色针状结晶。熔点105.5℃，相对密度1.558（12/4℃）。溶于苯和丙酮，微溶于热水和乙醇。

生产方法:

由1,3,5-三硝基苯与甲醇钠反应而得。将1,3,5-三硝基苯溶于无水甲醇中，然后将此溶液加入甲醇钠溶液中。将混合液加热回流20min，蒸出甲醇（约可回收加料量的一半）。剩余物冷却到20℃，吸滤，得粗品。再用甲醇重结晶、活性炭脱色，即得3,5-二硝基苯甲醚。收率70%左右。

用途:

用于有机合成。
