性质描述:

白色针状结晶。熔点93-95℃（91.5-92.5℃)，25℃时在水中的溶解度为170ppm，丙酮中60%，苯中15%，二甲基亚砜中150%，乙醇中21%（均为重量/重量）。除强酸、强碱情况外，在一般介质中较稳定。

生产方法:

由乙酰乙酰苯胺与硫酰氯反应得到α-氯代乙酰乙酰苯胺，再与巯基乙醇缩合而得。原料消耗定额：乙酰乙酰苯胺1090kg/t、硫酰氯880kg/t、巯基乙醇（>95%）490kg/t、对甲苯磺酸30kg/t。

用途:

该品为选择性较强的内吸杀菌剂，采用拌种、闷种和浸种等方法防治大小麦、燕麦、玉米、高梁、谷子等禾谷类黑穗病，亦可用于叶面喷酒防治小麦、豆类、梨等锈病，棉花苗期病害及黄萎病、立枯病，也可作木材防腐剂。本品对丝核菌有效，特别适用于棉花、花生、蔬菜和甜菜的种子处理。对作物具有生长刺激作用。萎锈灵对人畜低毒，但不可与眼睛接触。经萎锈灵处理过的种子不可食用或饲用。
