性质描述:

无色菱形或叶状结晶或白色粉末。熔点176℃（分解）。溶于热水呈强黄色，溶于1200倍冷水。溶于乙醇和碱液，不溶于乙醚。

生产方法:

巴比土酸用发烟硝酸在40℃以下硝化可制得5-硝基巴比土酸，收率85-90%。

用途:

橙测微量钾的试剂，用于沉淀生物碱。
