性质描述: 熔点137-140℃。
生产方法: 由4-氯-α-甲基苯乙烯（[1712-70-5]）经环合，成盐、加成、水解而得。1.环合、成盐将4-氯-α-甲基苯乙烯加到氯化铵和甲醛混合液中，在60℃左右反应至反应液澄清。再加入甲醇，在45℃反应4h，蒸出甲醇，加入浓盐酸，在40-50℃下反应半小时，95-100℃下反应4h，放置过夜。加液碱至pH为10-11。用甲苯提取，减压回收甲苯，余液用丙酮稀释，加乙酸至pH为7，析出结晶，过滤，丙酮洗涤，干燥，得4-对氯苯1,2,3,6-四氢吡啶乙酸盐。2.加成、水解将上述乙酸盐溶解在冰醋酸中，在30℃以下通溴化氢气体，饱和后结晶，过滤得4-对氯苯-4-溴哌啶氢溴酸盐。将其加水搅拌，在40-45℃加活性炭脱色，滤去活性炭后加碱中和，析出白色结晶。将滤出的粗品用甲苯重结晶，即得成品。
用途: 医药中间体。
