应用

These products are used to form water-repellent surface coating and/or lubricated surfaces on coinage metal materials (such as gold, silver).
The fluorinated carbon gives omniphobic properties to the surface. The coated surface is more water repellent when a product having more fluorinated carbons is used.
The thiol group provide a linker that covalently bond to the coinage metal surface.
The long carbon chain length allows for easy formation of a self-assembled monolayer.
