一般描述
苄基缩水甘油醚是一种缩水甘油衍生物。 Rac -( R )-苄基缩水甘油醚参与无规和等规线性聚 1,2-甘油碳酸酯的合成。黄色蠕形霉对外消旋苄基缩水甘油醚的生物催化拆分进行了描述。30%ee 的苄基缩水甘油醚至 ( S )-苄基缩水甘油醚和 40%ee 的 ( R )-3-苄氧基丙烷-1,2-二醇的全  嗜碱芽孢杆菌  拆分反应已有报道。它与 K -，K  + (15-冠-5) 2  反应生成甘氨酰氧钾和联苄。
