结晶化合物。熔点大于50℃。

生产方法:

用愈创木酚为原料，与硫酸二甲酯在氢氧化钠作用下甲基化，生成邻二甲氧基苯，然后以甲醛、浓盐酸氯甲基化得3,4-二甲氧基氯苄，将后者与氰化钠一起加热，氰化后得到二甲氧基苯乙腈，进而与溴代异丙烷在氢氧化钠参与下缩合（异丙基化）制得该品。

用途:

异搏定的中间体。
