应用
Benzamidine hydrochloride hydrate is a reversible inhibitor of trypsin, trypsin-like enzymes, and serine proteases. It is a proteolytic inhibitor and apoptosis reagent.

生化/生理作用

肽酶抑制剂。
盐酸苯甲脒为胰蛋白酶、胰蛋白样酶以及丝氨酸蛋白酶的可逆抑制剂。 采用大约 1mM 的浓度可抑制常用蛋白酶。要抑制来自酵母的蛋白酶，所用浓度范围为 0.5 至 4.0mM，并且通常它可与胃蛋白酶抑制剂互换。

除了可用作胰蛋白酶的强效竞争性抑制剂外，盐酸苯甲脒还可作为凝血酶和纤溶酶的强效竞争性抑制剂。而且还发现盐酸苯甲脒在阻止人血浆中的胰高血糖素降解方面与抑肽酶效果相当。

制备说明

盐酸苯甲脒可溶于水和乙醇。 在水中进行浓度测试，50mg/ml 时加热可得到澄清溶液。盐酸苯甲脒易于氧化。建议每次使用前在脱气水中配制新鲜溶液。然而，储存在惰性气体中以排除空气的冷冻等分溶液，短时间内可保持稳定。用于评估冷冻溶液保质期的信息不足。
