性质描述:

该品熔点为180-182℃。

生产方法:

由5-硝基异酞酸二甲酯水解而得。将5-硝基异酞酸二甲酯和甲醇混合，搅拌加热溶解。滴加氢氧化钠溶液，加热回流2h。然后蒸出过量的甲醇，剩余物用温水溶解，过滤。滤液酸化至pH为1，析出结晶，过滤，滤饼干燥即为5-硝基异酞酸单甲酯，收率约70%。

用途:

该品为有机合成中间体。经与甲胺胺化而得5-硝基-N-甲基异酞酰胺。经还原即得5-氨基-N-甲基异酞酰胺酸。再继续进行碘化反应则生成5-氨基-N-甲基-2,4,6-三碘异酞酰胺酸。这些中间体都是药物新泛影（碘酞酰胺）的中间产物。
