半胱氨酰甘氨酸是一种二肽，为谷胱甘肽分解代谢的副产物。

应用

半胱氨酰甘氨酸用于对羟基汞苯甲酸(PHMB)的衍生化，用紫外可见二极管阵列检测器(RPLC-DAD)进行在线和连续的反相色谱校准。

生化/生理作用

半胱氨酰甘氨酸是神经元中谷胱甘肽生物合成的前体。在过渡金属离子存在的条件下，有利于产生活性氧物质。正常的半胱氨酰甘氨酸水平对于维持正常细胞功能至关重要。
L-半胱氨酸-L-甘氨酸 (Cys-Gly) 用于谷胱甘肽的稳态研究。Cys-Gly 是巯基稳态、氧化应激和金属管理领域研究的重要分子。
