性质描述:

该品溶点82-84℃，沸点274-275℃。

生产方法:

由没食子酸与硫酸二甲酯进行甲基化反应制得。将水、没食子酸、硫酸二甲酯加入反应锅，于15-35℃下滴加氢氧化钠溶液，在40℃左右搅拌半小时。再加入第二批硫酸二甲酯，在40℃左右滴加氢氧化钠溶液至pH为8-9。继续反应1h后，冷却，过滤，洗涤，干燥，得三甲氧基苯甲酸甲酯，收率90%以上。上述甲基化、酯化反应，也可采用四丁基溴化铵作相转移催化剂，在水和氯仿中进行。该品也可采用单宁酸为原料或由3,4,5-三甲氧基苯甲酸与甲醇酯化来制取。

用途:

该品是抗菌增效药甲氧苄氨嘧啶的中间体。
