应用
For vacuum deposition. Used as a catalyst, in putty, as a polishing powder for steel and glass, in ceramic glazes and colors. The electrical properties of tin (iv) oxide render it an excellent material for the detection of very low levels of carbon monoxide, and several devices based on sintered pellets of SnO 2 are commercially available. Dye-sensitized fully solid state cells having the structure of rough n-type semiconductor film comprising zinc and tin (IV) oxide/Ru-bipyridyl complex/p-CuI are found to generate high short-circuit photocurrents and open-circuit voltages. The preparation of hydrous tin (IV) oxide in a suitable form for use as an ion exchanger is described. a colloidal-crystal templating technique to prepare three-dimensionally ordered macroporous (3DOM) tin (iv) oxide films for use as lithium ion anodes.

应用

Tin(IV) oxide (SnO2) nanosheets are an attractive choice for creating stable and high-performance perovskite solar cells due to its wide bandgap, increased electron mobility, and high stability. SnO2 has a higher bandgap (at 3.8 eV), and the conduction band edge exhibits a 300 mV positive shift compared to TiO2, which results in lower photocatalytic activity and higher device stability. The charge mobility of SnO2 is almost two orders of magnitude higher than that of TiO2 and has a lower trap density than TiO2. Finally, SnO2 nanosheets materials have an advantage over typical TiO2 materials in flexible and low-temperature applications.
