性质描述:

淡黄色透明液体。熔点-78℃，沸点265℃，相对密度1.006（20/20℃），闪点115℃。溶于有机溶剂，难溶于水，有酮的气味。

生产方法:

由环己酮在酸或碱催化剂作用下脱水缩合，或加压下加热，或用加热的氧化铝处理，或用氯化锌处理，均可得到该品。

用途:

用作特殊溶剂，还用于除草剂、木材防腐剂、杀虫剂等方面，主要作为氨基甲酸酯类除草剂的溶剂。也是柑桔类杀菌防腐剂邻苯基苯酚（OPP）的原料（OPP可由2（1-环己烯基-1基）环己酮经催化脱氢而得）。
