性质描述:

浅黄色油状液体。凝固点-40℃，沸点350℃，相对密度1.170-1.176（15.5/15.5℃）。能与醇、丙酮、石油醚和油类等多种有机溶剂混溶，微溶于甘油、乙二醇。20℃时在水中溶解度为3.4%，具芳香气味。

生产方法:

由环氧乙烷与甲醇、三氟化硼乙醚进行加成反应，中和反应产物得甲氧基乙醇。再与苯酐进行酯化反应，然后用活性炭脱色、蒸馏、水洗、碱洗、脱水、压滤而得成品。酯化反应产物水洗后，进行减压蒸馏，这种后处理工艺也被工业生产采用。工业品DMEP的含量≥99。原料消耗定额：苯酐750kg/t、环氧乙烷820kg/t、甲醇660kg/t。

用途:

该品可与乙酸纤维素、硝基纤维素、乙基纤维素、乙烯基树脂、聚乙烯醇缩丁醛、醇酸树脂等相容。主要用作乙酸纤维素的增塑剂，它的挥发性比邻苯二甲酸二乙酯小，可有很好的耐久性，同时使薄膜具有坚韧性。可用于漆包线、电影胶片、高强度清漆、胶粘剂和层压板胶粘剂等；也用作气相色谱固定液、三乙酸片基的增感剂和溶剂。
