性质描述: 白色结晶。熔点231-235℃。溶解度（g/100g）：苯为40.4，已烷4.5，丙酮127.0，四氯化碳6.7，微溶于水并水解成氯桥酸。
生产方法: 由六氯环戊二烯与顺酐反应而得。将六氯环戊二烯与顺酐按1：1.1的摩尔比混合在溶剂氯苯中，在140-145℃反应7-8h后，将反应产物加入水中水解，在70℃时水解得到的氯桥酸成为油状液体，加热到96-97℃时与水混溶，冷却后成为含一结晶水的氯桥酸（Het acid[115-28-6]）。若反应产物用热水及稀乙酸进行结晶，一水合物经100-105℃干燥，即得氯桥酸酐。
用途: 氯桥酸酐和氯桥酸都是反应型阻燃剂，适用于不饱和聚酯、聚氨酯和环氧树脂，也用作环氧树脂固化剂。由该品固化的环氧树脂制品的热变形温度约180℃，耐药性好，氯桥酸也作为染料中间体和杀虫剂。也用作织物的阻燃剂。

应用
Chlorendic anhydride is used in the synthesis of polymers, used in production of fiberglass-reinforced resins for chemical industry equipment.
