一般描述

过钌酸四丙基铵是一种温和的氧化剂，可用于将醇氧化为相应的羰基化合物。它是一种不挥发、空气稳定、易溶的试剂，可以与合适的助氧化剂以化学计量或催化形式使用。

应用

过钌酸四丙基铵(TPAP)可以作为催化剂用于：     

• 通过氧化反应将硫化物转化为砜。       
• 烯丙基醇的异构化，从而生成相应的饱和羰基衍生物。      
•  与N-甲基吗啉-N-氧化物(NMO)一起，用于将乙二醇裂解为羧酸。

• 将苄醇氧化为苯甲醛，将甾醇氧化为相应的酮。
• 将N，N′-二羟基咪唑烷酮转换为硝酰基硝基氧自由基。
• 将羟基取代的三-N-三氟硼酸叔丁基铵氧化为醛和酮，且不伴有碳-硼键的断裂。
