性质描述: 白色固体粉末。熔点94℃（83℃）。溶于热醇、醚等有机溶剂，不溶于水。
生产方法: 由芥酸与氨在催化剂作用下氨化、脱水而得。
用途: 主要用作聚氯乙烯、聚乙烯、聚丙烯挤塑薄膜的优良润滑剂。树脂中加入约0.1%的芥酸酰胺，能加快挤塑速度，成型后制品滑，能有效地防止薄膜之间素相粘连，方便操作。同时还能使塑料具有抗静电性能。该品还用于金属保护膜、颜料和染料的分散剂，印刷油墨的添加剂，纤维油剂，脱膜剂，橡胶配合剂等。由于无毒，准许在食品包装材料中使用。
