性质描述:

无色微粘液体。沸点233℃，相对密度1.0252（20/20℃），折光率1.439（25℃），闪点137℃。溶于水和甲苯。

生产方法:

由1,2-丙二醇与环氧丙烷缩合而得。将1,2-丙二醇与环氧丙烷在85%的硫酸作用下进行缩合反应。反应液用氢氧化钠溶液中和，经过滤，减压蒸馏，再在常压下精馏，收集229-233℃馏分即得一缩二丙二醇。原料消耗定额：丙二醇1300kg/t、环氧丙烷1500kg/t、硫酸（98%）100kg/t、烧碱（95%）100kg/t。

用途:

主要用作乙酸纤维素、硝酸纤维素、虫胶清漆、蓖麻油的溶剂。
