应用
As a catalyst in oxo process, and in high-purity cobalt saltsOctacarbonyldicobalt is used as a catalyst for hydroformylation. It plays an important role in promoting both the Nicholas reaction and the Pauson-Khand reaction. It acts as a reagent and catalyst in organometallic chemistry and organic synthesis. It is involved as an alkyne protecting group.
