性质描述:

纯品为淡黄色晶体或针晶。熔点80-82℃，沸点202℃，138℃（2kPa）。易溶于热乙醇、乙醚和苯，不溶于水。

生产方法:

1.乙苯在30-35℃下用混酸硝化得硝基乙苯。经精馏后得对硝基乙苯和联产品邻硝基乙苯。对硝基乙苯在催化剂硬脂酸钴存在下，在140-150℃、0.2MPa压力下，用空气氧化得对硝基苯乙酮。反应产物经水洗、中和、离心脱水、干燥，得成品。原料消耗定额：乙苯2519kg/t、硝酸1535kg/t、硫酸697kg/t、盐酸12kg/t、纯碱81kg/t、烧碱111kg/t、乙醇100kg/t、甲醇70kg/t。2.对硝基苯甲酰氯法。

用途:

有机合成中间体，是制造合霉素和氯霉素等医药的原料。
