性质描述:

亮棕色针状结晶。熔点138-139℃。溶于甲醇，热乙醇和醚，不溶于水。

生产方法:

由糠醛在氰化钾催化下发生安息香缩合而得。将8L水，3L乙醇，4kg糠醛在水浴上加热至60-70℃，搅拌下慢慢加入200g氰化钾溶于600ml水的溶液。反应放热自动升温至80-90℃，稍后即得结晶析出。放置后过滤，用水及甲醇洗涤结晶至洗涤无色，用乙醇重结晶，即为糠偶因成品。

用途:

用作有机试剂，还原剂。
